up, you will be investing in the education of a young woman
who has shown that she is not only capable of world class
performance, but driven to share her talents and her spirit
with all of you. She has enchanted and charmed her audiences
with her voice, her stagecraft and her smile.
Second,
she has committed herself to raising the difference between
her financial aid package and her tuition on her own. With
the support of her family and her community, she has already
raised $18,000 of the required $37,000. She is very confident
that she will succeed in raising the remainder over the
summer. You will be contributing to a success story.
Third,
she is the hardest working young woman I know - consistently
rising at 6am and often not returning until 6pm from rehearsals
and lessons, showing up at school looking like a million
dollars, excelling in all of her classwork, achieving the
highest awards her rigorous high school program can bestow,
and being a great friend and inspiration to her peers.
Fourth,
in 2013, when you attend her debut at the metropolitan opera,
you will be able to say you helped make it happen ;)
